A day at Butchart Gardens

Saturday, September 3, 2005, was declared the last day of summer at Butchart Gardens, hence, the last fireworks show, so we decided that it was time for us to visit these world-renowned botanical garden.

We went with our friends, Wael, Nesrine and Nora. We spent the second half of the day there, walking around the wonderfully designed thematic gardens; we've been to the Japanese Garden, the Italian Garden and the Sunken Garden. By the time we were through with taking the gazillion photos that we took, it was time to head back to the fireworks viewing area (plus Wael was about to die with boredom because of our photo-obsession :D)

The fireworks started at 9:00 p.m., and for the next 30 minutes, we enjoyed a spectacular show that combined music, light and fireworks. It was just AMAZING :)
